The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. Well built under $50 watch.
I got this Casio as my first Casio as I've worn watches since I was a teenager, using non brand sport watches and eventually graduating to fancy Japanese watches. Now I found myself not wanting to use those to put on wear on them because they are automatic and require some maintenance, so I figured it was time I got my first Casio. I was skeptical at first because I knew I wanted a Casio but the designs were all, dare I say generic (Or so I thought) so I ultimately wanted a G shock but, for the price and intended purpose I found this watch that just checked the boxes in design and "10-Year" battery. When I got it in the mail I was stocked, I hadn't felt a resin watch in years and set up was straight forward. Now after weeks of use I've found that through a bunch of me smacking it and hand washes, it still looks new, fortifying my satisfaction in buying this. Can recommend.
