I just finished reading this with my book club and it is superb! Researched, practical, and written by a mother and educator with a wealth of experience. This is the mentor you wish lived in your neighborhood or taught at your school! One of the best parenting books I've read and I love growth and strengths mindset of this book. If you get a chance, listen to her on a podcast or video because she is a dynamic speaker and very inspiring!

Spreading wisdom
Format: Paperback
Of course my kids delivered a disappointed ‘Thanks’ when opening the gift. I listened on audio and knew I couldn’t remember to pass on the interesting facts and ideas that I learned, so I bought the books as gifts. Some ideas are old and some are new. Overall a great read.

ESSENTIAL for all parents and educators to read

As an elementary educator for the last fifteen years, I finally found a book that put all the frustration and wondering of why kids come to school struggling, drained, and overwhelmed. She points out that we are all running on empty. In her book, she discusses the 7 core strengths that kids need in order to shine.
